PBS KIDS presents Plum’s Photo Hunt, an innovative photographic app that encourages outdoor exploration for children. As part of the PLUM LANDING initiative, this app is designed to engage children with environmental science, fostering a sense of curiosity about the natural world.

In Plum’s Photo Hunt, players embark on missions set forth by Plum, an alien from the Planet Blorb, who invites them to capture fascinating elements of nature—be it weather patterns, plant life, shadows, or insects.

Notable Features:

• New Update Feature! Kids can save their photographs in a Field Journal to share with family and friends.
• Children can take photos featuring Plum and her Earthling companions: Brad, Clem, Gabi, Cooper, and Oliver.

This app complements the PBS KIDS web series PLUM LANDING, developed by WGBH, well-known for creating award-winning educational programming including ARTHUR, CURIOUS GEORGE, PINKALICIOUS & PETERRIFIC, and MOLLY OF DENALI. Aimed at children aged 6-9, it enhances the series' environmental science curriculum through interactive engagement. To ensure educational value, WGBH collaborated with educators and experts in the field during the app's development.
